Today, total quality is a must in our economic environment.

A quality incident at Turbomeca may lead to:

  • Engine shutdown in flight, potentially endangering the life of the pilot and of the passengers,
  • Delivery delays in assembly on customer premises.

This is what drives our quest for quality : each non-conformance must be handled as soon as it is identified and until it has been fully resolved. It is for this reason that we have set ourselves the target of « zero defects » - the only acceptable objective.

Through this objective:

We are able to achieve the level of customer satisfaction that our customers have a right to expect once they have put their faith in Turbomeca. To ensure that this mission is successful, quality must be controlled throughout all the different stages of our industrial process, i.e in:

  • Quality system
  • purchased parts (suppliers)
  • training courses (suited to the level of qualification of each employee)
  • project under development

to take our processes (manufacturing, repair and logistic) through to maturity.

The following three areas have been targeted to meet this challenge:

  • Assuming responsibilities at all levels, from Operator to Vice President
  • Immediate reactivity each time a problem is identified
  • Lessons learned activity.

Our strategy is founded on the different inhouse methodologies, applied on a daily basis through a sustained progress approach implemented in each sector of the company. The effectiveness of this strategy is regularly reviewed using .
