Maintenance is "on-condition". The MTR390 powers the Franco-German Tiger combat helicopter. The Tiger is a twin-engine 5 to 7-ton-class helicopter and carries 2 persons (the pilot and the gunner).

The MTR390 offers both night and day operational capabilities and features particularly high levels of performance, reliability and safety. Operated in extreme conditions, the MTR390 offers ample emergency power and perfectly meets one-engine-inoperative safety requirements.
