FIELD REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MONTH
Steve Ponticelli is Turbomeca’s Field Representative based on the Northeastern United States Coast. Steve’s career began in the United States Army in 1977 where he was stationed in places as varied as Panama, Honduras, Korea, various spots in Europe, and a number of bases in North America. Once Steve retired from the army in 1997, he came to work for Turbomeca in the Metrology department. Steve was responsible for Arriel, Saphire, Tri-60 and T-45 metrology and was final inspector for Microturbo and LADS. He also structured and ran the parts scrap control and recovery program. Given the current increasing demand for Turbomeca products and our commitment to provide the best possible service to our customers, Turbomeca is in process of expanding its field service network in the Northeastern United States. In 2005, Steve’s job will focus strictly on supporting Sikorsky products and completions. Steve’s other responsibilities will be shared among two additional Field Representatives which will allow us to continue improving our personalized service to all customers. Steve says his motto in life is, "Treat everyone as you would want to be treated."
